Many of our staff have been with us for years which means that we are more like an extended family than a firm of legal professionals. Indeed, some of our staff are actually related. New staff are encouraged to get involved in the social, as well as professional side, of what we do here.

Every member of our team is as important as the next and we understand the importance of keeping our staff happy. The Firm encourages a good work/life balance and embraces flexible working patterns, where appropriate. All employees enjoy the following benefits:

  • Annual Leave :

20 days plus bank holidays annual leave (plus closure between Christmas & New Year). To reward staff with longer service annual leave increases by 1 day for every 2 full years worked up to a maximum of 25 days annual leave.

  • Workplace Pension:

Pearson Hards have a Workplace Pension scheme requiring an employee contribution of 5%. Pearson Hards will also add a further 5% of the employee’s annual salary as a contribution from the company.

  • Life Cover:

Life cover of 4 x salary is provided upon joining the firm.

  • Private Health Insurance:

The firm have a Private Health scheme which again rewards staff with a discount on membership for longer service:

Following 2 complete years from 01/01 - 31/12 25%
Following 3 complete years service from 01/12 - 31/12 40%
Following 4 complete years service from 01/12 - 31/12 75%
Following 5 complete years service from 01/12 - 31/12 100%
