Isaac Leigh-Howarth

Isaac Leigh-Howarth qualified as a solicitor in March 2024 and supports Claire Darby in the Dispute Resolution department. He previously trained at a law firm based in central London where he began as a paralegal and was quickly offered a training contract.

As part of his training, Isaac undertook a variety of work including Dispute Resolution, Commercial and Corporate Governance, Non-Contentious Employment matters and Intellectual Property. During his training, Isaac took an active and hands-on approach to maintaining and fostering new client relationships in a busy and growing department.

Isaac is passionate about resolving disputes in the most cost-effective way for his clients. He is known to use his negotiation and communication skills to cross the aisle and find working resolutions leading to a range of successful settlements. Clients also benefit from this approach as his ability to settle matters ultimately reflects an important cost and time-saving mechanism for his clients.

Isaac studied his Bachelor of Laws at the University of York, attaining a 2:1, then proceeded to undertake his LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law, London (Moorgate), where he gained a Distinction.

Isaac was born in North Yorkshire and moved to London to pursue his studies and career. He has a keen interest in playing a variety of sports including hockey, table tennis and 5-a-side football. Outside of this, he enjoys returning home and taking his dogs out onto the Yorkshire Moors whilst spending time with his family and friends.
